Hotel Palmas De La Serena

We loved staying at this hotel as it was conveniently located close to the beach and had great facilities, including a large garden with a pool and spacious rooms with balconies. The staff, especially Lidia at the front desk, were friendly and helpful. the breakfast served was better than other hotel breakfasts we've had in this city.

Everything was spot on.

Good location, a little quieter than most parts of La Serena. Ample parking and reasonably easy to find. Staff very helpful in making our forward travel arrangements.

Somewhat tired in appearance - perhaps well used is a better description! Breakfasts no worse than other Chilean hotels!

The size of the Roll was ok.. Good balcony..

This hotel should not have a hotel license.. As I was in la share a on business, my collegue chose this hotel for facilities like Internet etc.. However the Internet did not work as promised on their web page.. None of the tv channels worked.. The toilet could not flush at either mine or my collegues room. The staff did not want to try to communicate and could only say "I'm sorry".. There was no minibar in the room and no shops near by, so you were forced to by drinks in their so called "restaurant".. One soda was a 1200 pesos = $2 (thats ok), but when I checked out after one night, they charged my credit card 10800 pesos (= approx $20 !!) for 2 bottles of water and a coke! I never saw the specification and was in a hurry to the airport and discovered this, when I saw my credit card receipt.. I am tempted to say, that this hotel is a criminal activity.. Don't go there!

This hotel has a great location, just a short walk from the beach and a variety of restaurants. The pool area and gardens are well-kept and inviting, and the breakfast was both abundant and delicious. We enjoyed the convenience of having room service available.

Although the rooms were spacious, we found that there were a few minor maintenance issues, such as a wonky bathroom door and some worn carpeting. Additionally, there were a few ants on the floor of our room. while we had a pleasant experience at this hotel, there were a few small things that could be improved upon to make the stay even better.

Spacious rooms with lovely balconies and comfortable beds made for a great stay. the lush green surroundings and quiet location provided a relaxing atmosphere to unwind. the kind and helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the swimming pool was a great bonus for a refreshing dip.

The lack of complimentary towels and the unavailability of Wi-Fi in the rooms. Breakfast was underwhelming too.
